Hi Fellow Lions - issues relating to the support of the plight of the Hatian peoples are to be discussed at the next meeting of the Board of Directors also, if you have an interest in the contribution of the Geelong-Viqueaue Friendship Schools project - in Timor Leste - have a peep at the attached photographs - the smiles on the childrens faces say it all.

East Timor Report

December 2009

I would like to thank all the Clubs in V2 for their generous donations over the last 5 years to the East Timor Project. It was appreciated by the people of East Timor.

As the Chairman for the East Timor Project I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate PDG Derek Challis on all the time and work which he has put in on this Project. PDG Derek is held in high regard in Viqueque and the surrounding District.
