Welcome everyone to the new District Website. It’s taken a while but Webmaster Jeff, after a lot of set-backs has managed to get us back on course.

This website is an important and useful avenue of communication for clubs in our district and I encourage you to reward his efforts in re-establishing the site by participating and providing him with news about your activities on a regular basis.

During our club visits over the past few months Barbara and I have enjoyed experiencing the many and varied projects clubs are involved in and also the different ways meetings are conducted. We all have different projects and ways of doing things which we can share with our fellow Lions.

The website is also an excellent medium to quickly and effectively advertise any social or charity fund raising event to other clubs which could enhance attendances and subsequently boost funds.

Of course it doesn’t have to be all serious, there must be some fun things happening with club members (worthy of noting in the tail twisters book!) Let’s hear about them, remember fun and fellowship is also a very important part of Lionism.
